Outlast Media helps WGR 550 raise over $14,000 for charity

BUFFALO, NY — WGR SportsRadio 550 successfully raised over $14,000 during their 4th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament auction administered through a customized website developed and powered by Outlast Media.

Listeners of the Western New York radio station bid on 21 auctions that included foursome golf packages with sports celebrities like Buffalo Bills legend Thurman Thomas, Buffalo Sabres forwards Patrick Kaleta and Tim Kennedy, NHLer Martin Biron, former professional boxer Baby Joe Mesi, and Buffalo Sabres Alumni members Michael Peca, Rob Ray and Rene Robert among many others.

Proceeds from the July 19th event benefited the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Scholarship Program. The Golf Tournament took place at Westwood Country Club in Williamsville.

The auction website was built upon Outlast Media’s customized content management system, allowing the staff at WGR 550 to easily manage and administer all facets of the auction process.
