BUFFALO, NY — WGR 550 in Buffalo, NY successfully raised over $18,000 during the 3rd Annual WGR 550 Celebrity Golf Tournament auction administered through a customized website developed and launched by Outlast Media.
Listeners of the Western New York radio station bid on 25 auctions that included foursome golf packages with sports celebrities like Buffalo Bills legends Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith and Andre Reed as well as current Buffalo Sabres players Patrick Kaleta, Derek Roy and Chris Butler.
Proceeds for the July 13th event benefit the Thurman Thomas Scholarship Fund, giving underprivileged kids a chance to train like a pro!
The auction website was built upon Outlast Media’s customized content management system, allowing the staff at WGR 550 to easily manage and administer all facets of the auction process.
